Serbian-Albanian Relations in the Albanian Grade 9 History Textbook in Kosovo and Metohija
Abstract: This paper analyzes Albanian Grade 9 history text- book currently in use in Kosovo and Metohija. Emphasis is placed on the important issues related to Serbian/Yugoslav-Albanian relations between 1918 and 2008.

Summary
The Albanian Grade 9 history textbook currently in use in Kosovo and Metohija attempts to prove Albanian ethnic supremacy in the area by ignoring certain historical facts and providing a historical narrative aimed at instigating negative attitudes towards Serbs. Such interpretations do nothing to alleviate the existing tensions between Serbs and Albanians, and demonstrate the Albanian unwillingness to engage in an academic dialogue with the sole goal of legitimizing the status quo in the Autonomous Province. The analysis of the Albanian Grade 9 history textbook corroborates our previous research results and conclusions about the Albanian Grade 8 history textbook in Kosovo and Metohija.
