Dr Dragan Bogetić
Dragan Bogetić was born in Belgrade on 24 January 1953. He graduated in 1976 at the School of Political Science (International Relations Department), University of Belgrade, where he also obtained his master's degree in 1982 and his PhD in 1988. Since 1984 he has been employed at the Institute of Contemporary History in Belgrade, where he is still working today as principal research fellow. His research focuses on Cold War history and Yugoslavia's diplomatic history between 1945 and 1990, with particular emphasis on Yugoslavia's relations with the Western Powers (especially the United States and NATO), and the Soviet Union and the Eastern European countries. His main area of interest is the relations between Yugoslavia and the non-aligned countries and the activities of Yugoslavia within the Non-Aligned Movement.
He is the author of a dozen books and over 100 research papers.
