Doc. dr Dalibor Denda

Dalibor Denda was born in Zrenjanin (Serbia) in 1975. He got his bachelor's degree in 2001, master’s degree in 2008 and his PhD in 2016 from the Department of Yugoslav History at the School of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Since 2002 he has been working at the Institute for Military History (since 2006, at the Strategy Research Institute) in Belgrade, where he became a research fellow in 2017. That same year he became a Docent at the National Defense University at the Military History Department. In 2013/2014 Dr. Denda conducted practical research at the German Military History Research Office in Potsdam. Hi studies focus on the military history of Serbia and Yugoslavia, especially the development of military professionalism, as well as Serbian-German and Yugoslav-German military political relations.

He has authored and cooperation-authored 4 monographs, more than 50 scientific papers, several reviews and critiques in scientific journals and was editor of two proceedings. He has participated at 28 national and international scientific conferences in Serbia and abroad (Russian Federation, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Romania, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Slovenia).
